MCoC Boycott 2.0

Its been 1 year and 12 months since the infamous 12.0 patch, when Kabam made sweeping changes to Marvel Contest of Champions. The community responded with absolute disgust, demanding that the company take responsibility for their actions. Now Kabam is at it again, and left the community with no choice but to rally for a second boycott

As they say, a leopard cannot change its spots, and Kabam as spotty as they come. For a good month after 12.0 we saw some improvement with communication from the company, and some attempts to be more transparent.

Over the months since patch 12.0, old habits returned fast. Kabam failed to maintain the open and honest level of communication with their player-base, that they promised. Bugs that effected players were always backlogged, while those that affected Kabam's revenue were fixed overnight. High level cheating on Alliance Wars were addressed poorly. Event rewards remained stale for years, despite the game evolving. As a result, the community has responded with Boycott 2.0

The decision is to do dark on the game for 24hours, as the entire community will refrain from logging into Marvel Contest of Champions in a sign of protest. You can read about it by clicking the link below
