New Arena System

Kabam has introduced a new Arena System to Marvel Contest of Champions which will kick off on March 2. The two multiverse arenas have now been split into four, each offering a distinctive prize and goal.

There are now two 4-Star arenas, one offering the featured champion as the top prize, while the other offers a basic 4-Star. Additionally 4-Star arenas now offer double the featured Champion from 400 to 800, and Basic Hero from the top 5% to the top 10% of summoners.

Veteran Summoners will see the following arenas, rewards and milestones:

Summoner Trials:

1-Star and 2-star Champions can be used on this arena and no gold cost is associated with finding an opponent. The milestone rewards are as follows:

• 2500 points - 5 units, 300 battlechips, 500 gold, 250 PHC shards
• 5000 points - 5 units, 300 battlechips, 500 gold, 250 PHC shards
• 30,000 points - 6 units, 750 battlechips, 1200 gold, 500 PHC shards
• 60,000 points - 7 units, 750 battlechips, 1200 gold, 500 PHC shards
• 90,000 points - 7 units, 750 battlechips, 1200 gold, 500 PHC shards
• 120,000 points - 7 units, 750 battlechips, 1200 gold, 500 PHC shards
• 150,000 points - 7 units, 750 battlechips, 1200 gold, 500 PHC shards
• 180,000 points - 7 units, 750 battlechips, 1200 gold, 500 PHC shards
• 210,000 points - 7 units, 750 battlechips, 1200 gold, 500 PHC shards
• 250,000 points - 7 units, 750 battlechips, 1200 gold, 500 PHC shards

A minimum of 30,000 Points are required to qualify for rank rewards

• The Top 50 Ranked Players will earn a 2-Star Crystal, 1200 3-Star Shards and 5000 PHC Shards
• The Top 10% of Rank Reward Eligible players will earn a 2-Star Crystal, 1000 3-Star Shards and 4000 PHC Shards
• 11-25% will earn 500 3-Star Shards and 3000 PHC Shards
• 26-45% will earn 250 3-Star Shards and 2000 PHC Shards
• 46-60% will earn 150 3-Star Shards and 1000 PHC Shards
• 61-100% will earn 75 3-Star Shards and 500 PHC Shards

3-Star Featured Arena:

Use your 2 and 3-star Champions to earn points! The milestone rewards are as follows:

• 7500 points - 5 units, 500 battlechips, 750 gold, 500 PHC shards
• 15000 points - 5 units, 500 battlechips, 750 gold, 500 PHC shards
• 80,000 points - 6 units, 1000 battlechips, 2000 gold, 1000 PHC shards
• 160,000 points - 7 units, 1000 battlechips, 2000 gold, 1000 PHC shards, 1x Aren Boost Crystal
• 240,000 points - 7 units, 1000 battlechips, 2000 gold, 1000 PHC shards
• 320,000 points - 7 units, 1000 battlechips, 2000 gold, 1000 PHC shards, 1x Aren Boost Crystal
• 400,000 points - 7 units, 1000 battlechips, 2000 gold, 1000 PHC shards
• 480,000 points - 7 units, 1000 battlechips, 2000 gold, 1000 PHC shards, 1x Aren Boost Crystal
• 560,000 points - 7 units, 1000 battlechips, 2000 gold, 1000 PHC shards
• 640,000 points - 7 units, 1000 battlechips, 2000 gold, 1000 PHC shards, 1x Aren Boost Crystal

A minimum of 80,000 Points are required to qualify for rank rewards

• The Top 50 Ranked Players will earn a 3-Star Feature Hero, 250 4-Star Shards, and a 3-Star Rank 1 to 2 Gem (The class of the gem will match the class of the Featured Champion)
• The Top 10% of Rank Rewards Eligible players will earn a 3-Star Featured Hero and 200 4-Star Shards
• 11-25% will earn 800 3-Star Shards and 100 4-Star Shards
• 26-45% will earn 400 3-Star Shards and 50 4-Star Shards
• 46-60% will earn 200 3-Star Shards and 1 Arena Boost Crystal
• 61-100% will earn 100 3-Star Shards and 1 Arena Boost Crystal

4-Star Basic Arena:

Use your 3 and 4-star Champions to earn points!

• 17,000 points - 5 units, 750 battlechips, 1500 gold, 1000 PHC shards
• 35,000 points - 10 units, 750 battlechips, 1500 gold, 1000 PHC shards, 1x Aren Boost Crystal
• 150,000 points - 15 units, 1500 battlechips, 2500 gold, 1600 PHC shards
• 300,000 points - 15 units, 1500 battlechips, 2500 gold, 1600 PHC shards, 1x Aren Boost Crystal
• 450,000 points - 15 units, 1500 battlechips, 2500 gold, 1600 PHC shards
• 600,000 points - 15 units, 1500 battlechips, 2500 gold, 1600 PHC shards, 1x Aren Boost Crystal

• 11-25% will earn 500 4-Star Shards and 200 5-Star Shards
• 26-45% will earn 250 4-Star Shards and 100 5-Star Shards
• 46-60% will earn 125 4-Star Shards and 1 Arena Boost Crystal
• 61-100% will earn 75 4-Star Shards and 1 Arena Boost Crystal

• 11-30% will earn 200 5-Star Shards and 400 4-Star Shards
• 31-60% will earn 200 4-star Shards and 2 Arena Boost Crystals
• 61-100% will earn 100 4-Star Shards and 2 Arena Boost Crystals
