It looks like the upcoming update to Marvel Contest of Champions is going to be a big one. Yesterday we saw the update will include the ability to earn Tier 2 Alpha Catalyst fragments. Today Kabam announced that the update will also include a new lineup of 5-Star Champions.
After updating your game on January 18th, you will find the following champions will be included in the 5-Star crystal, which costs 10,000 shards:
- Superior Iron Man
- Colossus
- Guillotine
- Yellow Jacket
- Moon Knight
- Hulkbuster
Guilly and Yellow Jacket will definitely be the more popular drops in the new lineup, but we have to admit this is likely the best lineup of the three releases. Each of the six classes have been represented again bringing the total of 24 champions in the 5-Star reel.
