Kabam has announced a brand new event quest for the month of February titled, Dawn of Darkness. The quest storyline follows Doctor Strange, as he gathers Marvel's Illuminati in an attempt to track down Guillotine and save her from the clutches of Thanos.

ILLUMINATI CONFIRMED!
Darkness shrouds the Battlerealm as Doctor Strange gathers the Illuminati (but not Ad0ra_), and with their help continues his quest to track down Guillotine and save her from the clutches of Thanos. Strange has enlisted the help of two private investigators to aid in their search and while the team tracks down a possible lead, it might be more than they bargained for as dark forces work to stop them and threaten the Contest. Thankfully, all is not lost, as Strange reveals a plan to use the situation to his advantage and help find their lost friend in order to thwart Thanos’ evil plans.
Corrupted Conjurers
The Hood and Dormammu have found their way into the Battlerealm! Dubbed "The Hood" by police, Parker Robbins uses the mystic powers granted by his boots and cloak to maintain his criminal empire and keep his family safe and secure. Using his imbued abilities, he can cloak himself to avoid danger and even unleash his inner demons in a pinch, but The Hood’s power has left him susceptible to influence from a much darker force... Dormammu! Originating in a dimension unknown to mortal flesh and blood, Dormammu seeks to control the Battlerealm and consume all matter within it! In a body of fire made flesh, Dormammu’s involvement looms over the Illuminati’s search for Guillotine, but his thirst for power may be his undoing...
Nifty Rifties!
Dimensional Rifts return for another round of lucrative Quest rewards! Make sure to Master as many difficulties of Dawn of Darkness as you can to acquire a hoard of Dimensional Shards to open these Rifts! Make sure to bring your a-game while playing these challenging but rewarding quests! While we’ll also be bringing back Dimensional Crystals to use the shards on, don’t forget that it’s one or the other; you can’t open a Rift and spin a Crystal, you’ve got to choose!
The event will kick off on February 1st at ~10:00AM PST and run until March 1st at 10:00AM PST. Two new titles can be earned including the “Eater of Souls” title for Beginner, Normal, and Heroic mastery, and the “Lord of Darkness” Title for Master mastery.
Return of Dimension Rifts
This event also marks the return of the highly praised Dimension Rifts. Players will once again be able to collect Dimension Shards, and access those rifts. Higher rifts will award amazing rewards like 5-Star awakening gems and Tier 4 Class Catalysts
